This is something we see alot of...dead trees! They have an enormous project here, cutting up dead trees and moving them. It will take them years! The drought really had an impact. It makes us sad to see so much destruction. Estimates are they lost 20 million trees!

The ponds and lakes are filling up again and there are some beautiful areas.  This is in a well planned neighborhood with a walking path around two ponds and homes just beyond the trees.  These are strange looking Texas ducks!  Hal had never seen anything like them before.
