On our way back to Houston from San Antonio we were able to drive through Brenham, Texas. A great farm community with so many wildflowers. Here are the Texas Blue Bonnets.
There were acres of them EVERYWHERE!
Along with Indian Paintbrush and a wide variety of other beautiful wildflowers.
There were even cows in the fields of wildflowers! Just an amazing sight to see, so much color for so many miles!
We can't forget the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham! They use the milk of 60,000 cows everyday to make the best ice cream ever! Hal made a good missionary contact during the tour.
We loved Brenham! Hal couldn't help but think how much Grandpa Bourne would have loved the lush pastures, the beautiful farms and never ending land!
