This is sweet Sister Boswell originally from Germany and later from Brigham City, Utah. She and her husband are great senior missionaries that we love. One morning Sister Crawford and I had a brain storm and Sister Boswell made it a reality! We thought it would be nice to have a visual of the "ward" that the missionaries were helping to create through baptisms and reactivation. The goal was 345 people in 3 months!
I found the stick people on Amazon.com, shipped them to Sister Boswell in Louisiana and she did the rest!
She couldn't stop herself! She worked all day for 10 days creating people! Male and female, young and old, different nationalities and everyone in different clothes.
The detail and creativity is amazing! When she unvailed her project we were in awe! Every person was created with love and she has left a wonderful gift for the mission that will be treasured for many years to come!
At various gatherings the missionaries are able to pick out the people they have been either baptized or reactivated and put them in the rows and watch the "ward" grow.

What a fun idea! I love those little people! And how cool to really be able to appreciate how many people are being reached through everyone's efforts!
